Director Saravanan has given Simbu a pure masala entertainer, but a lengthy one with lot of star cast. Simbu imitates lot of people in tinseltown, and again finger sequence are there here too. Music has good remixes and good dances from Simbu.
Simbu lives with his grandfather in Kumbakonam as priest. Santhanam is his friend and does some irritating comedies with Manobala and others. Lot of unwanted scenes to make film bit lengthy. He saves life of someone, when a group comes to kill him. He gets angry when injustice peaks in and fights back being a priest. His uncle Prabu comes out of jail and there starts flashback.
Prabu and his brother Simbu live in a village fighting with their cousin Ponvannan and his son. They tease Prabu and Simbu and in an accident son dies and Ponvannan also kills himself and puts blame on Simbu. This being watched by his another young son takes revenge of whole family of Prabu and Simbu. Sneha acts as Simbu's wife and she escapes and gives birth of another Simbu and dies. This Simbu is taken by his grand father and brought up in pure veg family without violence.
When he sees Prabu and their group, he becomes like his father and enmity grows among Simbu and the grown up Ponvannan's last son played by Murali (Polladhavan fame villain). At the end kills when Murali kills Prabu by a bomb in tractor, Simbu kills Murali in end.
Lot of action and little comedy, more masala in this commercial movie.
